Eye Tracking in the Psycholinguistics Lab

We use eyetracker technology in the lab for psycholinguistic research particularly with syntactic and discourse processing. More recent research involves the recognition of previously seen information using an eyewitness paradigm. Someday we will have some useful information on this page about our research.

The performance from our first eyetracker was less than satisfactory. We are much happier with the newer model.

Curt Burgess running Stella Arambel on the eye-tracker. (Actually, it's just a public relations photo that required a 20 minute exposure using infrared film for Stella using only the ambient infrared light and a 1/60 second exposure with flash for Curt.)
