I'm a 3rd year Psychology undergraduate at the University of California, Riverside (UCR). I've been working in Dr. Burgess's lab for a little over a year now. I started by working for Zana on the Language and Persuasion Project. In this project, I had interviewed many participants about their language background and then instructed them to write a short essay based on one of three senarios. After working for Zana, I began working on Jon's Proper Names Priming Project. In this experiment, we looked for how participants are primed based on proper names and stereotypes. Currently I am working on a Livejournal Corpus in which we will later look for language differences. I plan on working on more projects in this lab. My scope of interest is mostly in Clinical Psychology but I have a growing interesting in Psycholinguistics. Research Interests: |
